Updating the Jazz catalogue with new songs

Carsten Lindholm has a mission! He want’s to update the catalogue of Jazz songs with new popsongs as he feels this is long overdue.
So, on the coming album you will among own compositions also find popular popsongs from the 80’s and 90’s – all interpreted in Carsten Lindholm style and played by the best musicians in the Nordic way.

One of the popsongs is Clean Bandits “Rather Be” recorded at a live concert at Jazzhus Montmartre Copenhagen 2019 –  and you can listen to it and watch it right here!

Thank you – Elbjazz 2019!

Standing ovations in between numbers at the concert Friday 31st May in Skt. Katharinen Kirche

So viele positive Vibes!! Vielen Dank auch an das wahsinnig effektive Elbjazz Team und die Katharina Kirche”!

Also a special thank to the audience who came all the way from Denmark to support us – Eva, Max and Simon.

New single “Spring Cruise” out 31st May 2019

In connection with Carsten Lindholm Trio’s concert at Elbjazz 2019 in Hamburg, the new single “Spring Cruise” will be released.
The number is a pre-taste of Carsten Lindholm’s forthcoming 4th album, and seduces us with a sense of spring and positivity.
Spring Cruise is played mostly in Major Key and the responsive listener will perhaps notice the konnakol inspired bass playing under the beautiful piano solo.

Enjoy!

Elbjazz 2019

Carsten Lindholm Trio is very excited to play at Elbjazz this year. The concert will take place at St. Katharinen Church Friday 31st May at 9pm – and Carsten finds it to be a dream location for the trio.

The trio that consists of Jan Gunnar Hoff (Piano), Kristor Brodsgaard (bass) and Carsten Lindholm (drums) will be playing songs from Carsten Lindholm’s latest album “Indispiration”. Further more, the audience will have the opportunity to hear some new songs from the upcoming album, including the song “Spring Cruise” that will be released as single on the day of the concert. As Carsten Lindholms upcoming album is a mix of own compositions and interpretations of known pop-songs, if given time, audience might even get a taste or two of these.

The music will be played mostly in major key, and the Trio hopes to give the audience a positive vibe and a feeling of inner peace to take along with them.

Check out the Elbjazz 2019 programme here – and buy tickets here!

We look forward to seeing you.
