Carsten Lindholm Exchange er med under Dansk Jazz 100 år i 2026 – et projekt initieret af Jazz Danmark , der går ud på at fejre og formidle dansk jazzhistorie. Projektet har som mål at sætte bevaringen af dansk jazzhistorie på den kulturpolitiske dagsorden.
Carsten Lindholm Exchange ønsker at skabe en mere dynamisk jazzscene imellem europæiske
lande, og øge synligheden af danske jazznumre og musikere.
Projektets mål er at synliggøre og levendegøre dansk jazzhistorie gennem en kunstnerisk formidling af danske jazzkompositioner fra 1941 og frem. Dette både af kendte og mindre kendte komponister, herunder også kvindelige pionerer. I forskellige trio og kvartet konstellationer fortolkes dansk jazz af musikere fra hele verden, og gør historien levende.
I forbindelse med Carsten Lindholm Exchange – Dansk Jazz 100 år, historien bliver levende planlægges udgivelse af et album, samt turné i både Danmark og Europa. Se aktuelle koncerter her .

Carsten Lindholm Exchange – Danish Jazz 100 years, history comes alive
Carsten Lindholm Exchange is part of Danish Jazz 100 years in 2026 – a project initiated by Jazz Denmark, which aims to celebrate and communicate Danish jazz history. The project aims to put the preservation of Danish jazz history on the cultural policy agenda. Carsten Lindholm Exchange wants to create a more dynamic jazz scene between European countries, and increase the visibility of Danish jazz acts and musicians. The project aims to make Danish jazz history visible and come to life through an artistic presentation of Danish jazz compositions from 1941 onwards. This by both well-known and lesser-known composers, including female pioneers. In various trio and quartet constellations, Danish jazz is interpreted by musicians from all over the world, bringing history to life. In connection with Carsten Lindholm Exchange – Danish Jazz 100 years, history comes alive, the release of an album is planned, as well as a tour in both Denmark and Europe. See current concerts here. Eva Kruse was born the 16th of october 1978 in Hamburg/ Germany.
1998-2003 she studied acoustic bass and improvisation at the university of arts “UdK” in Berlin. She also went to Sweden to study with bassist and professor Anders Jormin in Göteborg..
1999-01 Eva was a member of the german youth-jazzorchestra “BuJazzO”, where she took classes with pianist John Taylor who inspired her into starting writing music for different bands and projects.
2002 she founded her own band with pianist Michael Wollny and drummer Eric Schaefer and what started as “Eva Kruse Trio” soon became the highly acknowledged trio [em]. With [em] Eva has released five albums on ACT Records, toured worldwide from 2004-2014 and has won a couple of grammy´s in Germany as “best ensemble of the year”.
