Second Light – Single release 28. marts 2025

(English version , scroll down)

The single is composed by Carsten Lindholm and features his inspirers Bugge Wesseltoft on Piano/Synth, Thomas Markusson on Double bass – and Carsten himself on Drums/keys.

Carsten was very excited when Bugge and Thomas said yes to record the song, since they both have a Nordic approach to jazz and was a perfect match for the expression he wanted.

The music is inspired by the early ECM recordings with musicians as Keith Jarrett, Jan Garbarek and their quartet. There’s a focus on the simple melody added Indian rhythmic figures.
