Worms: Jazz and Joy 2021 Feat. Carsten Lindholm

SUNDAY // 22.08.2021 // 15:30 // SCHLOSSPLATZ – PRÄSENTIERT VON DER WORMSER ZEITUNG

It’s with great pleasure we announce that Carsten Lindholm has been invited to perform at the festival this year.

It should of course not be missing from the anniversary edition of the festival - we're talking about the “Jazz & Joy: Private Selection”. Dr. David Maier, artistic director of the festival, and the well-known jazz musician Thomas Siffling came into being. Every year other musicians are invited, who then perform together in an unprecedented constellation.

This year you can look forward to the Danish drummer, composer and producer Carsten Lindholm, saxophonist Kerstin Haberecht, pianist and keyboardist Roman Schuler and bassist and guitarist Gernot Kögel!

Cool review of “Uninvited” by XDRUM.EU

Nothing beats the feeling of someone that gets it
– thank you Tommy Tulip!

Man fühlt jedes Tannin in Salzgitter, Neuruppin.

¨…If it were up to me, I would hear more of skilful interpretations of great music, as Carsten Lindholms trio offers above. It is so calm, ethereal, pearls like velvet red wine drips. You can feel every tannin in Salzgitter, Neuruppin. You have to dare to change the original. This is where free spirit comes into play, which never commits itself to something specific from the outset, what for? Creating something new, presenting it, completely and brilliantly, open-pored and open-ended. I thank Carsten Lindholm for making it available. It’s… arrived
